well todays the big day. we all registered and start play at noon. we have been here for 3 full days and had fun so far. our flights on the way down got messed up due to thunder storms so we didnt get here until friday afternoon. tj,blair and pj played the $210 tourney on friday with over 200 players and tj chopped it 6 ways taking $4500.00. congrats tj. i played 2 tourneys one 45 buyin and 1 210 buyin havent had any luck ray and jacques placed in the $45.00 tourney ray got 3rd for $430.00 and Jacques 4th for $340. there were about 100 players with 1 $20 rebuy. then jacques played the next day and chopped for more with 6 players. he took $1500 with the other 5 taking a touch over $900. congrats to both ray and jacques. well gotta go, hopefully today and the next 2 days is when i will shine and have the poker gods with me. btw its pretty cold here the last few days, its only about 107 or so....lol. kev i will be sure to mention to andrew
well, sorry i didnt post earlier but we are in vegas and computers are the last thing i think about or see.lol\ wsop event 54...... jacques and andrew were first to go before the first break. then ray and elwin shortly after the first break. emily just shy of the second break when her AA lost to 10 10. i went to second break with almost 15000 chips when average was 9000 chips. i dodged a bullet with my pocket 5s. i raised and then got reraised minimum so i made the call. flop come down 4 5 9 offsuit. i bet into the guy hoping he was going to raise but just flat called. the turn come J and i was putting him on a hand like 10 10 or JJ or QQ, so i checked to see what he would do, he also checked. river come 6 and i fired out, he raised minimum and i just called and of course he had the JJ for the set of jacks over my 5s. so i go to the dinner brerak with close to 10000 chips about 3500 below average... been playing now 7 hours. i come back pick up a few small pots just enough to pay my blinds and antes. got moved to another table for the 5th time and had 10 10 on the button. pushed allin to a raise next to me and he had KK. end of story and good by to the wsop. finished around 800th, only 300 paid. 2821 entries. we all had a great experience and fun now im going to concentrate on cash tables since i cant do a xxxxing thing in the tourneys. i will post again in the next couple days.
sure hope the income and the out come end in $$$$$$$$$ thats what it is all about.(greg brayall) good luck to dan/emm
